Last Thursday was Home School Day at Six Flags. We all had a blast. The day started with the kids having Pictures at the Arboretum at 10:00 then off to Six Flags. Here are a few pics of the day. Rylee road the tea cups 20x I think. William ventured out and tried the bob sled with me but that is as daring as the got.

Saying Good Bye
This week we said good bye to my dad's dad better known as Pepop. He passed away last Friday March 20th at 6:00am. We are so excited for him yet so sad for us. We know he is with the two he loved most our heavenly Father and his beautiful wife and my Mimi. We all just know he is dancing on the streets of gold and worshiping the one he loved and talked about most. The service was Tue and it was wonderful. It was so nice to see the Davis side of the family again after so many years and reconnect. Here is a family photo we took. See ya on the better side Pepop we love you.

The past few week

Rylee on RascalRylee driving the tractor to feed the Horses

The past two weeks have been busy we have been to the FW Zoo, Dallas World Aquarium and Goose and Mimi's house in East Texas. We all enjoyed each trip but I think the favorite was to East Texas were the kids played from dusk till dawn rode 4wheelers, fished and played in the woods. Here are some pics of our adventures.

Family updates

Wesley's is the A&M one of course

Well it has been awhile since I have posted. We have been busy with school and life. The boys are still enjoying Home schooling and Rylee and I are both ready for her Pre school to be over. She wants to be home and I am ready for her to be home. The boys are still in Cub Scouts and recently they had a derby race that William won 1st place and Wesley second. William won 3rd over all and he won best design. They both had a lot of fun. This past weekend we collected can foods for Cub Scouts and the boys really enjoyed this too. Football will be starting next month and they can hardly wait. Rylee is wanting to start ballet so that will be coming this summer.
Marc and I are leading a small group at church and are really excited about our group. We have a wonderful group. We are reading a great marriage book called Blue Prints for a solid marriage. We meet twice a month and try to go to lunch after church together as much as possible. We are planning a camping trip for the first weekend in April and are very excited I think, since we have never been camping I am not sure what to think, so I will let you know how that goes. The following weekend our church is having a Spring Fling and our group is in charge of providing food for the day. So we have lots of opportunities to grow these next few months as a group.
Marc is on the design team at church and is helping in the remodel of the church it is going great and the church looks awesome. The past few weeks the attendance at church has been the largest we have had. All praise to God.
I have started working with the youth at our church and am excited to see what God has in store for that. It has been a big eye opener so far but a good one. Well as you can see life is great and busy for us but not too busy we are trying to maintain balance. Hope all is well with your families.
